Return Policy

If, for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may send it back to us within 30 days for an exchange or a full refund. This does not apply to custom orders, digital downloads and items on sale unless stated otherwise.

Hassle-Free Returns

Return shipping applies to customers worldwide.

To return an item, simply follow these return procedures:

  • Reach out to our Customer Support team at support@ilanisdiamonds.com for assistance.

  • We'll provide a fully insured prepaid shipping label for your return. Please note, the return cost will range between $90 and $250, depending on the value of the item, and will be deducted from your refund.

  • Package your order securely and attach the provided label. Drop it off at the nearest location of our designated carrier. If you require any packaging materials, they can assist you.

  • Please inform us by sending an email to support@ilanisdiamonds.com once you have dispatched the package with the carrier.

  • Your returned item is expected to reach our office within two business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

  • Refunds will be processed within two weeks and issued in the original form of payment.

 


 

Conditions of Return

All returned merchandise must be in new, unworn condition without signs of tampering or damage.

Return of merchandise in original jewelry box, original IGI/GIA diamond certificate and Jewelry certification returned in reusable condition. Damaged items will be subject to a replacement fee.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition including the original certification the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

There is no refund for standard, international, or expedited shipping or grading certificate costs on returns or exchanges. Since shipping is complimentary on all domestic purchases, you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the original shipping cost and handling.

In addition, all sale items, loose stones with signs of setting or damage, jewelry showing signs of wear and tear, or those that have been custom made, engraved, altered, resized or damaged in any way, cannot be accepted for return.

Please note, return shipping costs will be at your expense.

Packages that are refused or returned to sender will be considered an automatic return and are not eligible for refund.

 


 

Additional Terms & Conditions

Items sent or received at our office without a RAN number, sent after the 30-day return window, or inadequately packaged or uninsured will not be eligible for acceptance.

Furthermore, if a customer opts to use an alternative shipping method for the return instead of the pre-paid label option provided by us, we will not take responsibility for the shipment.

Returned items must be in "new and unused condition" and undamaged to qualify for a refund or exchange. Products showing clear signs of wear or alteration by a jeweler other than ILANIS will not be accepted.

Loose diamonds must be returned with the original laboratory grading report, or a $150 charge will be applied to replace the certificate.

For eternity bands and tension rings, it's crucial to order the correct size when purchasing, as these styles cannot be resized due to their design. They would need to be entirely remade. If you're unsure about the size, please use our ring sizing tool or reach out to our Customer Service team for guidance.

We also offer a resizing service for tennis bracelets. If you need to shorten your bracelet, we can do so for a non-refundable fee of $75. Any links that are removed during this process will be returned to you along with your resized bracelet.

As part of our commitment to lasting quality and client care, we proudly offer a Lifetime Care & Warranty on all ILANIS jewelry purchases.

Our Lifetime Care Includes:

  • Complimentary professional cleaning and inspection

  • Prong and setting inspections

  • Tightening of loose accent stones when possible

  • Polishing and maintenance guidance

  • Ongoing customer support for your jewelry care needs

If your jewelry requires repair or maintenance, our team will carefully evaluate the piece and guide you through the recommended service options.

 


 

Warranty Exclusions

Our Lifetime Care & Warranty does not cover:

  • Lost center stones or lost jewelry

  • Damage caused by accidents, improper handling, or excessive force

  • Normal wear and tear over time

  • Damage caused by third-party jewelers or unauthorized modifications

  • Theft, loss, or cosmetic damage from improper storage or misuse

Please note that certain delicate styles, including eternity bands, tension settings, and ultra-thin designs, may require additional care due to the nature of their construction.

We strongly recommend removing fine jewelry during physical activity, heavy lifting, swimming, sleeping, or exposure to harsh chemicals to preserve its long-term beauty and integrity.

Although diamonds are among the hardest natural materials in the world, they can still chip or become damaged if exposed to strong impact or pressure, especially in delicate or elevated settings.

 


 

Cleaning Your Jewelry

To maintain your jewelry’s brilliance:

  • Clean your jewelry regularly using warm water, mild dish soap, and a very soft toothbrush

  • Gently pat dry with a lint-free cloth

  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or ultrasonic cleaners unless approved by our team

For optimal care, we recommend professional cleaning and inspection periodically to ensure settings remain secure and your jewelry maintains its original beauty.

  • In its original ILANIS jewelry box or soft pouch

  • Avoid packing jewelry in checked baggage

  • Rhodium plating renewal for white gold jewelry

Please note that white gold jewelry naturally requires periodic rhodium replating over time to maintain its bright white appearance.
